Succubus
By: Dudgeon

visitation

she comes to me on a mist of rain
cross the rolling fields
and down the lane
on a wind which blows
cross the window pane
a dark and mysterious presence
in the night
to which my heart yields
despite my fright
as I give in to her
give in to her lust
to the power she wields
as she shields me
from wondering why
I have sinned
then wheels and waves goodbye
with a wink and a sigh
and disappears once more on the breeze
upon which she came
leaving only
an unexplained
emptiness
which can never be healed
except when next
the wind blows
her back to me
in the night
cross the fields
and she taps once again
upon my window
pane

###

darkness

darkness consumes me
as I slide inside
as I presume
to penetrate her desire
to consecrate the night
aspire
to return
to the darkness
from whence I came

###

and as I resume the ride
of the tide
of silken darkness
which clings
wetly
to my need

###

as I consummate the deed
in the name
of the same
darkness so tight

###

I concede
to her torrid greed
for her daily ration
of pulsing passion
injected inside

###

to a lust
that is finally fulfilled
as the seed is spilled

###

squeezed out
and swallowed up
once again
by
darkness

###

falling apart

everything seems to be
falling apart
rather than falling
together
as she who came
on a mist of rain
claiming always and forever
to be
a vision of light
in my nights
for all days
shall pass down the lane
no more

###

my heart lost
to her
ever more

###

gone on the breeze
which bore her hence
before

###

the breeze I'll pursue
in a futile search
through the desolation
of the empty fields
of eternity's
desperate isolation

###

each breeze now her taunting
gesture
each raindrop her haunting
caress
as together forever inexorably fades into never
