Incubus
By: Dudgeon

stalked through the shadowy miles
of my many days and many trials
and now haunted
by the bleeding of the light
flowing down from the sky

not unlike the viscous flood
of oily blood
now spilled within me
at the climax
of its infernal delight

a desecration of my temple
a pollution of my womb
now a tomb
gestating eternal death
for all life

for evil now crawls
through me to be spawned
in the darkness falling
beyond the last dawn
